no hope

this is what happens when i spend two weeks listing to conservative radio

it has all turned into a blur, but what i can pick out, is scary as hell. the worst part about conservative radio is the monotony. here in STL, rush comes on @ 11am. i don't know if he is live or whatever, but hannity basically just repeats rush. it is really sad. o'reilly is just sad. the "no spin zone" is a damn top! but, what really scares me is glenn beck. that man is smart and entertaining. he makes coherent arguments and keeps me interested. that is not good.

but more than that, it's the hyperbole. the "liberal media" is responsible for every injustice done to the conservative cause and it is the liberal who are in power who are responsible for everything wrong in this country. to hear them tell it, if a liberal wins the presidency, it is going to mean the literal end of the world. and that's just not cool.

but, i don't want to reciprocate. what i do want to say is this, it's all about the kids. no democratic candidate can win without the support of the liberal youth. most young people still lean to the left. we need them. so, to all you candidates, get on youth orientated tv. get on mtv! get in front of the kiddies! the thing about liberal kids is that they are lazy. you gotta enthuse them. you gotta make them see the reason to get involved. and more than anything else, you gotta do everything a hundred times before they get the point.

that's my message for now.
