I like this. It falls under the same heading as the colorwheel from before.

Are you gettin’ all this. “Hey, baby, let me light your cigarette with my knife.” “Oh my, it’s so BIG.”

My wife is gonna kill me when she sees this. I love Moleskine notebooks. You should love them, too.
I have been using a leather holder for the small sized Rhodia notebook. That worked quite well. Except, the store I used to get the Rhodia notebooks from seems to have stopped carrying the small size.
I am a square-ruled kinda guy. Don’t really know why. They just seem more multi-purpose.

New Scientist 13 things that do not make sense
Maybe it’s all the coffee I am drinking. Maybe it is the book I am reading. But this site is just damn cool! Thanks /.

I am having some personal angst over the issue of what text editor to use. I am mostly vi in Terminal. I have gotten to like TextWrangler (from the BareBones people). I just found a carbon version of vim, which is pretty cool. I just can’t really get into emacs. I try and I try and I try.
And what is the deal with Getting Things Done (a self-help book for geeks and, I guess, a way of life)? I have seen it pop up in the most unusual blogs. Is it just me? I could use some help getting my crap together, but this is getting a little weird.
And just for Aaron, what is the status of flash in ppc Linux? Are we ever gonna see it? I needs me my Strong Bad!!!

43 Folders: Guest: Mike Harris looks at “Remind”
This article opened the flood gates for me. I spent 4 hours last night setting up remind and Geek Tools. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of support out there for remind (i.e. I could not find any pre-made calendars for holidays OR example .reminders files). What I did was use some of the files available for calendar (a UNIX app) and translate them into .reminders files.
Mike Harris’ walk-thru was VERY helpful when setting up a scheme to work with remind.

sometimes, my computer fills me with a sense of power. sometimes it scares the bejesus out of me. there is always so much potential. and i rarely take advantage of it. i’m afraid to start a project which i know will take a long time to complete. too much responsibility.
Long, but well put.

I had a weird one last night that I wanted to share. I was back in the dorms. There was one of those fancy cafeteria things going on at one of the other dorms. It was some French themed thing. The sign was CEQE or C.E.Q. This was supposed to mean something, like the letters stood for something French. I asked Anne, but she didn’t have any ideas.
Any help would be nice.
